Ovie Ejaria called up to England U20 squad, despite previous Nigeria allegiance

Liverpool youngster Ovie Ejaria has been called up to the England Under-20s squad for the October international break.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a swift rise to prominence under Jurgen Klopp this season, starring throughout pre-season before making his debut for the Reds against Derby County.
That 12-minute cameo marked a milestone in Ejaria’s development, which has been followed by progress on the international stage.
Ejaria has been named in Paul Williams’ 24-man squad for the England U20s’ upcoming clashes with the Netherlands (October 5), Germany (October 7) and the United States (October 10).
The young Lions will test their credentials in a packed tournament schedule, travelling to Oldham, Huddersfield and Rochdale.
Ejaria’s inclusion comes as something of a surprise, given the midfielder’s previous statement of allegiance to Nigeria, shortly after joining Liverpool from Arsenal.

Super Eagles camp opens on Monday

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) yesterday confirmed that players and officials of the Super Eagles will begin camping in preparation for their Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier against Zambia on October 2.
Nigeria will begin the final phase of the Russia 2018 qualifying series on October 9 when they meet the Chipolopolo in Ndola.Reacting to a CNN that it cannot fly the Super Eagles to the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match in Ndola, the NFF said the report was misleading and assured Nigerians that it had concluded arrangements on getting players and officials of the Super Eagles to Abuja for the training camp, getting the team to and from Zambia and getting the players back to their various clubs after the national assignment.
It prayed for the support of Nigerians at this time, and also urged that the players to be allowed to focus on the task of qualifying the nation to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Although it admitted that it was facing some financial challenges as a result of the current state of Nigeria's economy, the federation said matters would never get to the point of the country being unable to get its national team to the venue of a competitive match or championship.
Meanwhile, when Zambia meets Nigeria in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier, they will appear in a new set of jerseys.Africanfootball.com reports that the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) general secretary, Ponga Liwewe, spoke to the media ahead of the crucial encounter.
"We are working to make sure Chipolopolo can be dressed in the new kit as they play Nigeria," Liwewe told Zambia Post.FAZ had a sponsorship agreement with American company Nike, which expired in 2014 and they are now linked with Italian company Kappa. The association has also been linked with little-known Asian kit maker, Mafro in the past.

Samsung to resume sales of new Note 7 phones

Samsung said Thursday it would resume sales of new Galaxy Note 7 smartphones in South Korea this week, hoping to turn the page on the troubled device after an ongoing global recall prompted by battery explosions.
The company on September 2 suspended sales of the oversized “phablet” and recalled 2.5 million units shipped worldwide after faulty batteries caused the phones to explode while charging.
With the recall underway in 10 nations where the device had been launched, 60 percent of users in Samsung’s key market, the US, had swapped their handsets for replacements provided by the company, as of Tuesday.
Eighty percent of Note 7 customers are expected to complete the exchange this week in South Korea, where sales of new phones equipped with fault-free batteries will resume on Saturday, Samsung said in a statement.
The new Note 7 will gradually hit stores in other markets, including some European countries on October 28, the company said.
The unprecedented recall, the first involving Samsung’s flagship smartphone, has dealt a blow to the reputation of the South Korean electronics giant — also the world’s largest smartphone maker.
With photos of charred phones flooding social media, Samsung is desperate to avoid a full-blown disaster that could cost billions and damage its image further.
But customers have reportedly complained that the replacement devices were overheating during calls and its batteries draining too quickly, a sign that the company’s troubles are not over yet.
A Samsung spokeswoman acknowledged the concerns but said they only amounted to “a few individual cases”.
“We would like to reassure everyone that new Note 7 phones are operating properly and pose no safety concerns,” she said, adding the firm was working to address the complaints.
The Note 7 was meant to kick start growth this year as Samsung struggles to boost sales, squeezed by Apple in the high-end sector and Chinese rivals in the low-end market.
But the recall has piled more pressure on the company, sparking alarm among global air carriers and safety regulators, which banned the device on flights.
Samsung is also facing a class-action lawsuit in the US state of New Jersey over complaints that some of its washing machines had exploded in their owners’ homes.
The company said Wednesday it was in discussions with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to address the concerns of affected customers.

GTBank opens Virtual Art Gallery in Lagos

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) PLC has opened a virtual art gallery, ART635, in Lagos.
At the opening, its Managing Director, Mr Segun Agbaje, said the bank embarked on the project because it wanted to unlock people’s creativity.
He said: “Although African art goes back in centuries, the industry on the continent is still young and untapped’’, hoping that with ART635, ‘’we can drive its evolution into a lucrative and vibrant economic sector”.
ART635 Curator Mr. Uche Okpa-Iroha urged artists to be more critical and provocative in the execution of their works, adding that they didn’t have to shy away from being critical of their works.
“Address issues with your art works. Let your work be petition to the authority and engage more with the spaces around you. And if we work and synergise, we can transform the sector,” Iroha said.
Biodun Omolayo, who spoke on building the business of art, said artists had to make efforts to market their works, noting that every artist was a business man. He described the virtual gallery as a unique platform that would add value to art and artists.
Art635 is an online repository of African artworks and is set to serve as a leading platform for the promotion of indigenous artists across the continent.
At the moment, most budding indigenous artists in Nigeria and across Africa have limited space to showcase their works and make substantial living from their works.
The bank said the gallery would expand the exposure of these artists, provide an enabling platform for the marketing of their works and serve as a much-needed motivation for further development of their artistic skills and talents. It allows every artist to upload his works on to the web for the curator to okay.
The launch of Art635 is the latest of the bank’s sustained efforts to promote African arts. Art is one of the four pillars of GTBank’s corporate social responsibility policy and its support for art over the years ranges from collecting art work from artists, to partner with Tate and other art institution to promote the value of African art in Africa and the international markets through project-lead initiatives
With ART635, the bank aims to further its support for African arts by helping African artworks become not just seen and appreciated, but also to turn them into a much more profitable and commercially viable venture for indigenous artist who earn very little from their works. This is in line with the bank initiative to go beyond the tradition understanding of corporate social responsibility as corporate philanthropy by intervening in the economic sector to strengthen small business through capacity building initiatives to boast their expertise, exposure and business growth.

Mourinho ready to leave Rooney out again

Jose Mourinho may leave Wayne Rooney out of Manchester United’s starting side for the second match in a row when they face Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League on Thursday.
Rooney was on the bench for United’s weekend game with Premier League champions Leicester City and didn’t get on until very late in the game as Mourinho’s side showed their best form of the season in a superb 4-1 win.
That led to huge speculation over whether Rooney has a future under Mourinho at United, where he made his club debut, scoring a hat-trick in a 6-2 Champions League win over Fenerbahce, exactly 12 years ago on Wednesday.
“Wayne Rooney is selected (in the squad). I did not decide yet if I start with him,” Mourinho said on Wednesday ahead of Thursday’s match at Old Trafford.
“He didn’t train yesterday (Tuesday), he did just a little bit of the session on Monday,” the United manager added.
“He had a back problem. So today was the first time he had a training session with the other players and today it was a training session where the intensity and complexity is obviously reduced because we have a game tomorrow.
“So I was completely convinced of playing him tomorrow from the beginning with this situation in the last couple of days, but I am not sure if I do that because of the situation you (the media) created with him.
“He can’t afford to have a performance that is not really good,” the Portuguese boss explained.
“Because I am here to protect him and not to put him in difficult situations, I have to analyse whether the best thing for him is to start the game if he is not totally ready for it.
“So I am going to discuss that with him and the medical staff and decide whether he starts or is on the bench.”
– Mata’s ‘natural habitat’ –
Meanwhile, another senior United player appears to have a far more rosy future at Old Trafford, with Juan Mata having convinced Mourinho that he has an important role to play with the club.
The Spanish playmaker was a £37.1 million ($48.2 million, 43 million euros) signing by David Moyes from Mourinho’s Chelsea in January 2014.
But Mourinho’s arrival at Old Trafford cast doubt over whether Mata would remain in Manchester.
“I didn’t sell him (Mata) because my job is not to buy and sell (at Chelsea),” said Mourinho. “My job is to coach and my job is to work on the pitch. My job is to advise my boards on the transfer policy. I don’t buy and I don’t sell and I never did.
“Secondly it was that he (Mata) was one who asked to leave and when a player asks to leave I think you always have to think twice.”
Mourinho added: “My project at Chelsea, he was a good player, my project at Manchester United is a very good player.
“There are big differences, at Man United I had more players to play transitional football. Football is the main objective, we are not so physically strong and compact and playing in a defensive block like we did when we won the title in 2014/15 (at Chelsea).
“The football we want to play here is different. We are in the beginning of that process.
“I think he (Mata) was very adept to do that with his qualities. We need players with these qualities. He has found a very good natural habitat.”

Arsene Wenger Set To Become England’s News Boss

The Football Association will make another attempt to convince Arsene Wenger to bring an end to his long Arsenal reign and become the next permanent England manager at the end of the Premier League season.
But they face a battle with Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke, who was in England last weekend and still hopes to agree a contract extension with Wenger.
As revealed by Telegraph Sport, Wenger was the first man the FA approached when they were searching for a successor to Roy Hodgson after the European Championships but the Frenchman made it clear that he would not break the final year of his Arsenal contract.
At the time, the FA did not feel they could wait an entire season for Wenger and turned to Sam Allardyce. But the country’s governing body are now prepared let the 66-year-old see out the remainder of his Arsenal deal if wants to take over the national team next summer.
Gareth Southgate, who did not want a caretaker role following the departure of Hodgson, has now agreed to take charge of the senior England team for the next four games and there is then an international break until the World Cup qualifier against Lithuania on March 26.
That means Southgate would only need to take charge of one extra qualifier if the FA managed to convince Wenger to leave the Emirates at the end of the season ahead of the Scotland game on June 10.
Wenger ticks all of the boxes for the FA as they consider their long-term options following the departure of Allardyce after just 67 days in charge, but they will face a fight from Arsenal to land him.

Sam Allardyce Leaves Job As England Manager After Only 67 Days (See Shocking Reason)

Sam Allardyce has left his position as England manager by mutual consent after just one game in charge of the national team. Allardyce was filmed advising undercover journalists on how to circumvent rules against third-party ownership.
Video accompanying the report shows Allardyce meeting twice with journalists posing as representatives of a Far East agency who were interested in bypassing rules from the Football Association and FIFA.
“You can still get around it. I mean, obviously, the big money’s here,” Allardyce said on the video, while also calling the regulations “ridiculous.”
A statement from the FA read: “The FA can confirm that Sam Allardyce has left his position as England manager. Allardyce’s conduct, as reported today, was inappropriate of the England manager.
“He accepts he made a significant error of judgement and has apologised. However, due to the serious nature of his actions, The FA and Allardyce have mutually agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect.
“This is not a decision that was taken lightly but The FA’s priority is to protect the wider interests of the game and maintain the highest standards of conduct in football. The manager of the England men’s senior team is a position which must demonstrate strong leadership and show respect for the integrity of the game at all times.”
Former Sunderland boss Allardyce was appointed as Roy Hodgson’s successor in July, and he oversaw his first, and only, game in charge as England beat Slovakia 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier thanks to Adam Lallana’s late goal.

England Coach Sam Allardyce under Investigation for Corruption after being caught on Tape

The Football Association is investigating allegations England manager Sam Allardyce used his role to negotiate a £ 400 , 000 deal and offer advice on how to “ get around ” rules on player transfers .
The Telegraph has footage it says is from August of Allardyce meeting men claiming to represent a Far East firm and appearing to tell them that third -party ownership rules can be avoided.
The 61 -year -old has yet to respond to the allegations , while the FA has asked to see the paper ’s filmed recordings.
It will meet on Tuesday morning when new chairman Grfteg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn must decide whether the issue is one of poor judgement or something more serious .
Allardyce was only named England boss in July , succeeding Roy Hodgson after a disastrous European Championship campaign.
It is further alleged by the paper that a deal was struck with the England boss worth £ 400 ,000 for him to represent the company to Far East investors and to be a keynote speaker at events .

The former Sunderland boss has been in charge for just one game.
“ I want all the facts , to hear everything from everyone and make a judgement about what to do ,” Clarke told The Times .
“ Natural justice requires us to get to the bottom of the issues before we make any decision . It is not appropriate to pre -judge the issue . With things like this you have to take a deep breath.”
Third- party ownership of players was banned by the FA in 2008 .
During the meeting with the businessmen , who were undercover reporters , it is alleged Allardyce said it was “ not a problem ” to bypass the rules and he knew of agents who were “ doing it all the time ” .

Allardyce tells the undercover reporters that any arrangement would have to be cleared by the FA .
Third- party ownership , in which investment companies take a stake in the economic rights of players , was described as a form of “ slavery ” by Michel Platini , the former president of European football ’ s governing body Uefa .
World football ’s governing body Fifa banned the practice in May last year .
Allardyce attended the meeting with the fictitious businessmen in London along with his agent , Mark Curtis , and his financial adviser , Shane Moloney .
During the meeting he said Enner Valencia had been under a third -party ownership agreement when he signed the Ecuador forward for £ 12 m for West Ham from Mexican club Pachuca in 2014 , but that the third -party ownership ended on the transfer and the Hammers acquired the player “ whole ” .
Curtis and Moloney have not yet responded to the allegations .
In the Telegraph recording , Allardyce also refers to predecessor Hodgson , as “ Woy ” , referencing his speech impediment .
He also criticises former assistant coach Gary Neville – saying Hodgson should have told him to “ sit down and shut up ” – as well as the FA ’s decision to “ stupidly ” rebuild Wembley Stadium at a cost of £ 870 m .

BUHARI MAGIC | Naira Dips to all-time low

The Naira yesterday fell further against the dollar, as it exchanged for a record low at N445 per dollar in the parallel market.
With inflation running at 17.6 percent and oil trading $46 per barrel, acute shortage of foreign exchange has taken its toll on the currency.
Traders said that speculators and strong demand from parents buying dollars to pay school fees abroad are putting pressure on the Nigerian currency, though the president of the association of bureau de change operators, Aminu Gwadabe, said the rate is not a true reflection of the market.
“The market is being driven by speculators who are taking advantage of the poor implementation of central bank policy requiring banks to sell dollars to bureau de change operators to ease pressure in the market,” Gwadabe told Reuters, adding that most commercial lenders are reluctant to comply with the directive.
The central bank’s instruction accompanied its licensing of 11 new international money transfer operators last month in its efforts to boost dollar supply.
The Naira exchange rate on the official interbank market was flat at 305 to the dollar.

Iwobi Should be Playing for England, Not Nigeria – Wenger

Coach of Arsenal, Arsene Wenger, is not too happy with the decision of star player Alex Iwobi to play for Nigeria instead of England. The team he represented at youth level before switching to play for Nigeria at senior level.
“He should be playing for England,” Wenger said in January, and he did for a while.
Iwobi made seven appearances for England’s under-16s, three for the under-17s and one at under-18 level and, by all accounts, was happily embedded in the setup. But then the invitations stopped.
“He played for the England youth teams for a while but when it came to the under-19s, they didn’t pick him,” Wenger added
Wenger blocked Iwobi from representing Nigeria at the Rio 2016 Olympics and the manager is one who is heavily opposed to the January timing of the Africa Cup Of Nations, which requires star players to leave during the business end of the season.
However Nigeria failed to qualify to next year Africa Cup of Nations, which means the 20 year old won’t be leaving the team in January.

Chelsea Players Call For John Obi Mikel to be in Starting XI

Players of Chelsea have made a case for out of favour Super Eagles captain, John Obi Mikel to be restored to the teams’ starting 11 ahead of new sign on Ngolo Kante
The players it was reported led an unrest in the Chelsea dressing room, where they have dropped a big hint suggesting they want Manager Antonio Conte to sacrifice N’Golo Kante for Mikel Obi.

Mikel has been frozen out by the manager since his return from the Rio Olympics, a situation which has reportedly turned some of the players against the manager.
Big summer signing N’Golo Kante according to the players appears to have killed a bit of their ability to turn defence to attack due to his passing limitations unlike the Nigerian.

The Nigerian is into the final year of his Chelsea contract after 11 years at the club, and the midfielder has already outlined his intention to try something new in his career if he isn’t offered a contract extension.
Some fans of the club were reportedly signing the midfielder’s name in their loss to Arsenal urging the manager to reinstate the 29 year old into the team to stem the tide of their recent slump.
Branislav Ivanovic post match revelation that players of the team didn’t believe in the manage r ’s pre match instructions before they were hammered 0-3 by Arsena l , s h o w e d the level of distrust between the manager and the players.

"I Still have so much to learn" Kelechi Iheanacho

Nigeria striker Kelechi Iheanacho says that despite getting a chance under manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City he is not taking his place in the team for granted.
Iheanacho joined City from the Taye Academy in Nigeria in January 2014 and broke into the club’s senior side last season with some eye-catching displays.
His blistering form this season – which includes a goal and assist in City’s 2-1 derby win at Manchester United – has earned universal plaudits again, but he refuses to get carried away.
I’m definitely learning, quietly listening and watching others closely every day – I know in doing that I will achieve bigger things in my career.
“I’m not letting all the praise get to my head because I still have a lot to learn in this game,” Iheanacho, who has scored three goals in seven appearances this season, told BBC Sport.
“It’s been a very progressive period for me at the club, but playing alongside stars like Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure and other great players provides a big chance to keep working hard.
“I’m definitely learning, quietly listening and watching others closely every day – I know in doing that I will achieve bigger things in my career.”
The 19-year-old scored 14 times and produced seven assists last season even though 25 of his 36 appearances were as a substitute.
That feat saw him finish as City’s third-highest scorer in all competitions, behind Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne.
Guardiola has rewarded him with a long-term deal on much improved terms at the Etihad, but the player admits he has a lot of work to do before he can nail down a regular place in the starting line-up.
“We have experienced players in the team and as someone who is learning and improving, I am happy to take my chance when the manager calls,” Iheanacho said.
“Our manager has confidence in me and has been encouraging me. All I want to do right now is to keep learning under him and work hard for the club.”

Picture: SARS Officer Who Brutally Killed Undergraduate While Pursuing A Notorious Yahoo-Yahoo Boy Arrested In Lagos

The family of an innocent boy who was gunned down by a trigger-happy police officer have demanded for justice in the death of their slain son.

A trigger-happy Special Anti Robbery Squad officer who fired the shot that killed an undergraduate of a polytechnic in Edo State, Joseph Eidonojie-Ugbeni has been arrested by the police in Lagos State. It was gathered on Sunday that the officer that fired the shot had been arrested and taken to the scene of the incident.
It would be recalled that some SARS officers, who were chasing a suspected Internet fraudster, Badoo at the Ogoja Market along LASU-Igando Road, had started shooting sporadically. In the process, a stray bullet had hit 20-year-old Joseph in the head, while his cousin, Friday Ojah, fled to avoid been killed.
It was later revealed that the policemen took Joseph’s corpse and dumped it in the boot of the fraudster’s car, before driving away to the command headquarters in Ikeja, Lagos.
“He was arrested on Friday and taken in handcuffs to the place where the incident happened.” a source revealed.
Badoo it was learnt, allegedly had reported himself to the police.
“Badoo lives in that community and is popular; the SARS officers also know him. He was not their target that day. They had actually conducted a raid and arrested some people. They were leaving when they sighted him in his car. They called his name and he quickly abandoned his car and fled.
“He had just returned from the bank that day. Badoo had travelled to South Africa and had recently returned to the community.” a source revealed.
The family of the slain man is demanding justice for the death of their son. The victim’s father, Patrick Eidonojie-Ugbeni, said: “The Badoo they were chasing showed up on Friday at the SARS office with his lawyer and parents. I met the Officer-in-Charge of SARS as well. They shot my son in the head and they claimed that he had a gun and that they shot him in self-defence. How is that possible when he was shot in the head from behind? All I want now is that the police should release the post-mortem result and the police report on the incident.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the case had been transferred to the homicide section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation.

Picture: Passenger from Brazil arrested with cocaine in jacket at Lagos Airport

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have discovered wraps of narcotics in the collar of a passenger’s jacket at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos. The arrest was made shortly after the suspect disembarked from the aircraft on his way from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The 31-year old suspect, Agwu Samuel, confidently wore the jacket containing the drugs but through experience and insight, the drugs were discovered by officers. This is the first discovery of cocaine inside the collar of a jacket by the NDLEA.
In his reaction, the Chairman/Chief Executive of the Agency, Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah, described the suspect’s action as desperately crafty and cunning. According to Abdallah, “the cocaine was detected by officers notwithstanding the crafty and cunning mode of concealment. The agency has taken some strategic measures aimed at disappointing the tricks employed by drug trafficking syndicates. We remain committed to exposing criminal plots through superior counter-narcotic intelligence. This operational success is commendable and a demonstration of our alertness to detect drugs.”
He said that the agency will continue to invest in capacity building programmes for officers.
The NDLEA commander at the Lagos airport, Ahmadu Garba, said that the suspect was arrested during routine check on passengers. “Ten wraps of cocaine weighing 110 grammes were found inside the collar of his jacket during screening of passengers on a South Africa Airline flight from Brazil through Johannesburg. The drug which was carefully hidden inside his jacket tested positive for cocaine and investigation is ongoing.”
Agwu Samuel, the suspect who sells shoes in Togo, said in his statement that he went to Brazil in search of greener pastures but resorted to drug trafficking due to frustration. According to the suspect, “I use to sell shoes in Togo until I lost goods worth N3 million. This negatively affected my business and made me to travel to Brazil in a desperate search for greener pastures. After a fruitless search for job in Brazil for four months, I decided to smuggle drugs to get some money to start my shoe business. I thought the drugs will not be detected inside my jacket but I was caught and I am very sad.” He attended Technical Secondary School in Ohafia, Abia State.
He will soon be charged to court.

8 Signs He's Totally Into You

Unfortunately, after a first date, it's rarely as simple as: "I like you, I had fun, let's get together again."
I'm coy after a first date because:
I don't want to look too eager/desperate. I won't ignore my attraction, but I'll at least try to temper it.
I want to look like I have a life. Even though I
don't have a life, I might try to look a little aloof.
I'm not sure if you like me. It's scary to take the dive and show I'm interested when I'm not sure if the girl is interested.

Despite attempts to look calm, cool, and collected, there are a number a things I'll do around an initial date that clue you in that I'm interested. Here are a few:

1. Completing the Date

It may not indicate that you're the apple of my eye, but it does indicate that you're not a total disaster . Most people are courteous enough to do the absolute minimum on a date: finish whatever activity you're doing together and devote sufficient time out of respect for the other person. But some situations are such utter disaster, things must be cut short.

I once went out with a girl who spewed embarrassingly stupid things I couldn't respond to. Finally, I suggested changing plans to meet up with my buddies. Once a date is officially a bust, I'll look for any way out.

2. One on One

If I'm into you, and comfortable, I won't want to "share" you. A common tactic to combat a boring date is calling in "reinforcement" friends to "dilute" you. I'm naturally talkative with those around me, but if I invite everyone else around us into our party, I might be looking for a more interesting outlet .

3. Extending the Date

Suggesting something (other than going back to someone's place) after dinner like taking a walk, grabbing a drink, going for dessert, catching a movie, etc., indicates I'm asking for an encore. Although a masochist like myself might ask a girl to spend more time with me if I'm not enjoying her company.

4. Suggesting Another Date

Sometimes I get so excited during a first date I play my cards by suggesting other things we should do together . A common time to suggest another date is at the end of the date, though some guys just say this to be friendly. But it can't be bad if the guy is enthusiastic enough to suggest a second date. He just has to make good on his word.

5. Friendly Follow-Up Right After You Say Good-bye

Sometimes after a date, I'll text the girl telling her I had a great time, out of sheer giddiness. If I'm not interested after the date, I'll head straight home and begin my process of fading out of this girl's life (following up is not part of that process).

6. Striking While the Iron's Hot

I'll appear to be flaky or uninterested if I wait too long. If I enjoyed the date I'll contact her within a few days. This doesn't necessarily mean I'm asking her out again just yet. I'm just keeping the conversation going. If I'm not interested, I won't ever contact her again. Regardless of how great you thought things went, if he doesn't contact you again he's clearly not interested .

7. Consistency

Hold me to a higher standard than one extra date , or one call back after the initial date. How many times have you gone on a few dates only to have it fizzle out? You can't be sure I'm interested until we've gone out consistently for more than a month.

8. Non-Cliché Dates/Spontaneity

Take notice when I ask you to do random little things: run errands, go to the park. It's that next step when I'm getting to know you and showing you I want you around whenever, wherever. Spending this "informal" time with you indicates I'm interested.
Remember, guys sometimes act interested just to get laid, and there are guys who feel guilty cutting a date short when it's not going well. "Trying to be nice" actually sends the wrong signals if a guy is not interested .
My advice: Use these indicators as guidelines (they usually build on each other as things progress). Be vigilant, because reading the signals incorrectly will get you hurt. Hopefully you'll meet a good guy who is sending honest signals.
How do you show you're interested after a first date? Do you wait for a guy to make the next move after a first date? What signals are you looking for in guys after a first date? Do you agree with my signals, and that it's tough to read them in the beginning?
