Mikel Obi arrives Eagles Camp

The Chelsea midfielder arrived at Le Meridien Hotel on
Tuesday morning ahead of Saturday’s Afcon qualifier
against the Taifa Stars
Nigeria camp swelled on Tuesday morning with the arrival
of Mikel Obi for the Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations
qualifier against Tanzania billed for Uyo.
Brown Ideye, Victor Osimhen, Imoh Ezekiel, Musa
Mohammed, Jamiu Alimi and goalkeeper Emmanuel
Daniel were the early birds as they arrived on Monday
afternoon.
The Chelsea star returns to the senior national team
after leading the Dream Team VI to winning 2016 Rio
Olympics bronze medal following their defeat of Honduras
in the third place match.
Meanwhile, technical adviser Gernot Rohr and some
invited foreign pros who have flight delays in Lagos are
expected in the Akwa Ibom State capital on Tuesday
afternoon.
Result of Saturday’s qualifier at the Akwa Ibom Stadium
counts for nothing as Egypt have already picked the lone
ticket from the group.
