Recession: Bishop Kaigama urges Nigerians to be positive, optimistic

In view of the current economic recession in the country, the President of Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria and Archbishop of Jos Catholic Diocese, Bishop Ignatius Kaigama on Sunday appealed to Nigerians to remain “positive and optimistic”.

Kaigama made the appeal when he visited St. Mary’s Parish, Hwolshe in Jos.
“We should be positive and optimistic in our nation. Sometimes we are too negative and pessimistic in this country.
“We are not saying that our country has no problems, but we should be positive and optimistic. We should not only criticize and condemn our leaders, but we should pray.”
